Overview

The Indonesia Euler Institute is a non-profit organization established in 2025. We operate as an incorporated association—Akademia Multidisiplin Euler—formally recognized by the Directorate General of General Legal Administration under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia (AHU-0001438.AH.01.07.Tahun2025).

Our Inspiration

Our institute is named after Leonhard Euler (1707–1783), the renowned Swiss mathematician and multidisciplinary scientist whose pioneering works profoundly shaped mathematics, science, and engineering. Euler’s legacy exemplifies how multidisciplinary intellectual curiosity, determination, and diligence can lead to extraordinary achievements with enduring impact—values that form the foundation of our organization.

Our Purpose

Our primary purpose is to develop and support programs that empower our members to actively contribute to the improvement of educational quality across all levels—primary, secondary, and tertiary. We engage in public policy discussions related to education and research, ensuring that academic voices are represented in shaping national strategies. Furthermore, we serve as a platform for our members to address real-world challenges faced by industries, bridging the gap between academia and practical application. As a vessel for the advancement of research, we also promote academic excellence through publications, conferences, and scholarly events.

Founders and Board Members

Triwanto Simanjuntak, PhD (President)

Triwanto is a graduate of Institut Teknologi Bandung (S.T.), The University of Tokyo (M.Eng.), and The Graduate University of Advanced Studies (PhD). He is currently an Assistant Professor at the International University Liaison Indonesia (IULI) in Aerospace Engineering, specializing in Flight Mechanics, Astrodynamics, and Aerospace Systems Design. Dr. Eng. Odi Akhyarsi (Secretary)

Odi graduated from Institut Teknologi Bandung (S.T.), Toyohashi University of Technology (M.Eng.), and Toyohashi University of Technology (PhD). He is currently an Assistant Professor at Universitas Nusa Putra (UNP) in Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Eng. Ressa Octavianty (Treasurer)

Ressa is an aerodynamicist who graduated from Institut Teknologi Bandung (S.T.), Gyeongsang National University (M.Eng.), and Tokyo Metropolitan University (Dr. Eng.). Zaki S. Saldi, PhD (Supervisory Board)
